Membership Dues Increase for 2023-24

US Figure Skating is raising its annual membership dues for the first time in several years. Since most of your FFSC dues go to US Figure Skating, this means we must raise our dues. The new rates go into effect June 1 for the coming season, and will apply to all new memberships and renewals. The new rates are posted on our Membership page.

Ice rink closed Sunday and Monday due to storm

The city is closing the ice rink due to the approaching storm, so there will be no club ice Sunday and Monday, January 15-16.

We will issue credits to those who bought ice those two days- the credits will appear in your shopping cart.

As of now, the rink plans to open Tuesday, so we should have Wednesday club ice and Learn to Skate, but watch your email for updates from the club.

Jay Lively Inclement Weather Policy

With snowy weather in the air, I wanted to send out a quick reminder about our Inclement Weather Policy. Please see attached regarding our inclement Weather Policy. Please note that we will open the arena for use at 8:00 a.m. on any Flagstaff Unified School District delayed start or cancellation days (snow days). If a cancellation is unknown prior to 5:00 a.m. we will be on the regular schedule. City Leadership will make case-by-case decisions for late openings and early closures to address safety concerns for staff and patrons.

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding our policy.

Thanks,
Dan Carrick
