There will be public freestyles on Sundays through Dec 21 at 6:30 to 7:45 am. On Sunday Dec 28, there will be a public freestyle 12:00 to 1:45 pm. These sessions are run by the city. Check the Rink Calendar for updates.

The rehearsal for the Holiday Exhibition will be Friday, Dec 12, starting at 3:15 pm. We'll have one regular club session during the remaining time.
Learn to Skate Students who are skating in the exhibition are welcome to participate, and can also practice on the club session the preceding Sunday, Dec 7, from 3:15 to 4:15. LTS students need to sign a waiver and pay $10 per session for the ice time.

The current cost is $30 per month and $12 per year for membership in US Figure Skating's Basic Skills program. Due to the city recreation fee increase, starting January 1, 2015, the fees will increase to $40 per month and $15 per year. So sign up now and get comfortable on your blades before the fee increase!

As you pull out your winter clothes and find those outgrown/ never worn skating gear and apparel don't despair: This Sunday- October 19th is another Club skate swap from 3-4:45. Come bring items to sell or look for new-to you items for skating. 10% of any sales go to the scholarship fund.
Sellers: Bring your clearly marked items ( with skaters name and price) to the rink this Sunday and give to me (Ann). I will stay and sell your items until 4:45. Please make sure to pick up any unsold items and your money from sold items. Also remember that 10% of your sales are donated to the scholarship fund.
Buyers: bring cash or checks to purchase items. We have limited capability ( practically none) to make change.
