Late Fee Increase for Ice Fees

The board has raised the late fee for ice payments to $25, effective January 1, 2019. This fee is due if monthly ice is paid after the 10th of the month. The club must pay the city for ice on the 1st of each month- please help your club stay financially strong by paying for ice when it's due on the 1st.


National Skating Month - Free Group Lessons, January 19th

FFSC and Flagstaff Youth Hockey Association will be holding our annual event for National Skating Month on Saturday, January 19th, from 12:00-12:45 pm at Jay Lively Ice Arena. The city is donating free ice time and the clubs will be offering free group lessons in basic ice skating, figure skating, and ice hockey skills. Rental skates are available. If you've always wanted to try ice skating, now is your chance! Our professional instructors will have you gliding confidently across the ice before you know it!

Wednesdays at 5:30 pm

January Lessons: 1/9, 1/16, 1/23, 1/30
February Lessons: 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27
March Lessons: 3/6, 3/13, 3/27

All ages and abilities welcome! Lessons given for both figure skating and hockey.
Cost is $60 for the first month, $40 for continuing students this season.

Ice Rink Access

Due to the ongoing city project on Turquoise, Mike, the rink manager says: Just a head's up access to the Arena has changed due to the water improvement project. To enter and exit the arena please follow the detour signs if you are on Turquoise to Oak St. to San Francisco St. to Juniper St. or turn onto San Francisco to Juniper.


Late Fee Increase for Ice Payments

On January 1, 2019, the late fee for ice payments made after the 10th of the month will increase to $25. The board made this change to encourage more skaters to pay on the 1st, when ice fees are due for the month. The club has to pay the city on the 1st, so members can really help the club by paying on time. Thank you!


FFSC Winter Exhibition, Sunday, December 16, 2:00 pm

We will hold our annual Winter Exhibition at Jay Lively Ice Arena on December 16. The public is welcome!


No December Board Meeting

There will not be a board meeting in December. The next board meeting will be in January.
